| Originally founded as The Morrison Press, Inc. on September 1, 1965, it was owned by Morrison and Grace Speaks and was located at 14 North Carlisle Street. In October of 1970, Gary Gembe was hired as President of The Morrison Press and Gary and Nancy also, at that time, became part owners of the corporation. In July of 1975, Gary and Nancy bought the remaining shares of The Morrison Press and became the sole owners of the corporation. The Morrison Press, Inc. became Graphics Universal Incorporated on December 14, 1976. To accommodate the growth of the corporation they moved to 17 North Washington Street on February 18, 1977. Continued growth required another move to 25 Commerce Avenue in October of 1983 with additional space and remodeling occurring in the fall of 1993. In September of 1999, Gary and Nancy Gembe began their succession plan as they promoted their son Garon to President of the Corporation. In February of 2007, Garon became sole owner of Graphics Universal Incorporated when he purchased the total shares of stock from Gary and Nancy. |
